Egg-actly

The Golden Cosmic Egg - Andrew Logan

If you're looking for something to do over Easter, why not join the biggest Easter egg hunt organized by UK jeweller FabergĂ©?

200 eggs have been specially designed by artists and designers, such as Andrew Logan, Vivienne Westwood and Mark Quinn etc. for the occasion. They will be expertly hidden (during Lent), somewhere in one of the 12 zones of London and you have to find them.

Angel Hatching - Anita Klein

With maps, clues and descriptions of the eggs at your disposal, all you have to do is find one, text its unique keyword to 80001, and, you will automatically be entered into a competition, where a special Diamond Jubilee Egg worth $100,000 British pounds, is the prize.

Union Jack - Mark Shand

Also, The Big Egg Hunt is aiming to break the current Guinness World Record title for: the most participants in an Egg hunt.

Once over (March 20), all the eggs will be auctioned off for charity.

ET Call Home

Most people have or use a mobile phone these days, which means that the public phone is verging on the unnecessary. Inspired by this New York-based architect John Locke decided to breath new life into the phone booths around the city, by converting them into communal libraries, where anyone can drop or pick up a book. Matreshka Light

Coming in at a snip at £8,000.00, I find the shape and satin-buttoned cushion of the Matreshka Light Chair inside strangely appealing.

Designed by brothers Georgi and Petar Slokoski, (an architect and an artist), who were inspired by the Russian Matreshka doll. From its curvaceous form, this chair offers the sitter a safe-haven, from which via remote, the LED RGB lighting system can be controlled. The thousands of colour combinations, also include white, in case you actually want to read a book whilst you take a 360 swirl. Their website can be found here
