Hierophant by Alison Day
Here's my final illustration for the May bootcamp. The main assignment was to illustrate a Tarot card, which was the equivalent of my star sign of Taurus - the Hierophant.
In ancient Greece, the Hierophant was a priest, who passed his time interpreting the ancient mysteries. In Tarot, the appearance of this card has to do with education, beliefs and knowledge.

This highlight of this week was to hear that the American Book Center, Amsterdam has added my storybook: Sam & the Adventure to their shelves, along with the accompanying colouring book.
How cool is that?

Day 2/100 - Chocolate bowtie pasta, tag: #100daysfoodanddrink
This packet looks so pretty, it seems a shame to open it. As the owner of the shop in Sicily packed it, along with the olive oil from Etna, Limoncello, dark chocolate with orange and sun dried tomatoes into a bag, he suggested a creamy sauce as accompaniment—yum!
